Digital technology gives you high quality video with faithful color reproduction without blurring, smudging or noise. Images are more precise and stable. Digital information can be stored for longer periods of time and can be viewed more often without deterioration. In addition, PCM Digital Stereo Recording gives you advanced, DAT quality sound. The new backlight compensation adjusts only the dark parts of a shot to optimal brightness levels, and leaves the bright sections untouched, so they don't become glaringly washed out. The Digital Image Stabilization (DIS) circuit senses movement of the user holding the camera and helps to reduce image shake and jitter, delivering a more stable picture. All Viewcam view screens are coated with a special resin that reduces fingerprints. To clean view screen just use a clean, soft clot. Moreover the screen can rotate 270 degrees adding more convenience to the camcorder.
